Gangster Mukhtar Ansari was lodged in Banda Jail in Uttar Pradesh.He died late on Thursday night. While in jail, his health suddenly deteriorated. So he was brought to Rani Durgavati Medical College. It was said that his health was fragile there. After that, he was shifted from the ICU to the CCU. There a team of nine doctors were working to treat him but despite the efforts of the doctors the doctors also tried hard to save his life but they too failed to save the life of Mukhtar Ansari.
Reason for admitting Mukhtar Ansari on Tuesday
Mukhtar Ansari was also admitted to Durgavati Medical College on Tuesday before the attack. At that time the doctor had mentioned the problem of dementia. And he was immediately sent to jail after treatment. He was checked up again on Wednesday. This check-up was done in jail, where he was said to be in good health.
Allegation made during hearing 60 years ago:
It was alleged that he was being tried for murder in jail. This incident was 60 years ago. There, small amounts of poison are being fed to their food. It was alleged that. After this M.P. M. L. A., the court had sought a report on this from the Jail administration. After his death, vigilance has been sounded in some districts. Many policemen have been escorted from Police Lines for dry security Section 144 has been imposed in Mau, Banda, and Ghajipur.
The reason behind Mukhtar Ansari being jailed:
The murder was the first case against Gangster Mukhtar Ansari in which he was convicted, and arrested on 22 October 2023 for a hooligan act in Ghazipur, for which he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was kept in Banda Jail then. Mukhtar Ansari was convicted of 7 criminal cases in the last 17 months. He was acquitted of 20 of the 65 cases pending against him. A Varanasi court had sentenced him to life imprisonment for the Awadhesh Rai murder case.
The real journey of punishment to begin in 2020:
Gangster Mukhtar Ansari’s punishment journey began in 2020. The criminal journey against him started in December 2020. ADJ Court was acquitted in the case of threatening the Jailor in the year 2023 in Lucknow’s Alambagh Jail. In the same case, the High Court sentenced him to seven years of rigorous imprisonment on 27th April 2021 after the Govt. He was sentenced to 5 years in jail.
Mukhtar Ansari sentenced to 10 years:
On April 29, 2013, Mukhtar Ansari was sentenced to ten years in a gangster case in Ghazipur. The journey of Mukhtar Ansari’s life ended on Thursday night as his condition suddenly worsened in the jail. Doctors failed to save him even after taking him to Rani Durgavati Medical College. And he died.
